In Feb 2017, Allison provided a production platform for our MP 270B location. The scope included providing all platform structural and facility engineering, pipeline engineering, providing all materials, fabricating piping and vessels, structural repair and re-certification of a 4 pile platform, Instrumentation and electrical, commissioning as well as logistics management and offshore installation and platform start-up. In todays environment, it was imperative that Castex reduce its schedule and cost risk, so we decided to contract with Allison based on a “Fixed Price” EPCIC basis. This contracting strategy allowed Allison full control of deliverables and schedule, which ultimately reduced our exposure and helped our ROI by getting the well flowing quicker. The
project was completed on time and budget without any incidents.
